HTC HD2 runs on Android 2.1!

Take a look at this – we’re talking about a HTC HD2 which supposedly runs on Windows Mobile, but this time it has Android 2.1 running on it – sort of. Boasting a custom boot animation known as XDAndroid, the port is far from complete although in its current form, it looks pretty polished. If you watch the video above, Android crashes, where you will then see Ubuntu running on the HD2. The mouse pointer also takes a whole lot of cajoling to have it hit the correct spot, which will most probably frustrate most people out there. In the meantime, those who want a solid Windows Mobile experience will just have to wait it out – at least until Windows Phone 7 hits the scene.
