
Most colored displays that you see these days look and work great indoors, but bring it outside and you will find that the display’s colors will most probably look washed out. Not so with Liquavista’s range of color and monochrome screens, where it looked absolutely stunning even when it is under direct sunlight. According to Liquavista, the improvement in outdoor readability does not really involve any major modifications to the way current LCD displays are manufactured. If you want to see such displays in action though, you will need to wait until next year at the very least since that is when they will enter production.
