You might have seen Ninomiya-kun, the storytelling robot from Kitakyushu National College of Technology, and now the robot is being demonstrated at a robot industry fair again. This time, the robot has been upgraded with the ability to tilt and nod its head expressively while reading, giving it an additional sense of realism. The robot’s name was inspired by a historical figure known for his work ethic, often depicted carrying a bundle of wood on his back while reading a book, which would explain the bundle of wood on this robot’s back.
