Manufacturers are increasingly trying to go green nowadays, and that’s good news for environmentalists. Nokia has announced its latest green initiative with its new Eco Profiles. This means that from now on, every new device will sport an Eco Profile that offers information on the device’s energy use and greenhouse gas emissions. This is a slightly different tack from what Sony Ericsson has done, as Nokia thus far hasn’t come up with a specific “green device”, though it’ll quite intriguing to see which method will work out better in the long run.
