Olympus has introduced two new digital cameras on Tuesday, namely the waterproof X-560WP, and the entry-level T100. The former is a 10-megapixel shooter that is capable of taking pictures at depths of up to 10 feet, boasting automatic scene detection, face detection up to 16 faces and an auto-correction mode to improve shadows or red eye. Other features of the X-560WP include AF tracking, 3x optical zoom, digital image stabilization, 18 shooting modes, SD and xD memory card support. The X-560WP is priced at $160.
The T100 is an entry-level camera, boasting 12-megapixels, 3X optical zoom, AF tracking, face detection, 2.4-inch LCD, video recording at VGA resolution and even a built-in help guide. The pricing for the T100 hasn’t been unveiled just yet, but it shouldn’t break the bank.
