You might remember the Palm Foleo, a netbook-like product that was intended to be a companion device but never made it to the market. If you’ve got a thing for nostalgic technology pieces, you’ll probably be drooling over the fact that a Foleo was up for auction on eBay, listed at $750. The auction has since ended, though it wasn’t entirely clear whether it was sold or the buyer took it down. The Foleo on auction had a wide range of software already installed, including a web browser, Office document editors, viewers, games, financial apps, and others. If this 10-inch device was to be launched, it was expected to retail for about $500 after a $100 discount. Do you think that the Foleo would have been a hit if it were released?
