While many devices are running Android 2.1 at the moment, there are still many older Android devices out there that are still running much older versions of Google’s mobile OS. There is some good news for Samsung Behold II owners on T-Mobile’s network, as it has been confirmed that they will be getting an over-the-air (OTA) update to bring their phones up to Android 1.6. Granted, Android 2.1 would be a lot nicer, but we’re not complaining. The update has already started to roll out, and will continue through Friday this week. This update means that users will be able to take advantage of Google Maps navigation, Voice Search, Swype keyboard, the quick search box, and other improvements.
