It’s finally official, as Sprint has announced that the Samsung Epic 4G will be the latest device to join its line of 4G handsets. Since there aren’t too many Android phones out there that sport a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, the Epic 4G should have an edge when compared to other Android phones out there. Specifications of this mobile phone are rather juicy, which include:
- 1GHz Samsung Cortex A8 processor
- 3G/4G hotspot capabilities
- 5-megapixel camera with autofocus
- LED flash
- 720p video recording
- Front-facing camera for video chat
- Digital compass
- Six-axis motion sensor
- 16GB microSD card bundled
- Android 2.1 (with Android 2.2 in the future)
- 3.5mm audio jack
- 4-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display
- 1,500mAh battery
- Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP
- Wi-Fi b/g/n
- GPS
