Samsung Galaxy Q touted to hit US later this year

Word on the street has it that Samsung will be rolling out an Android-powered smartphone Stateside later this year with a caveat – it will feature a full QWERTY keypad, and is unofficially known as the Galaxy Q. As with any other self-respecting Android-powered smartphone, the Galaxy Q will come with a touchscreen display as well as social media integration features. One of the reason why it sports a full QWERTY keypad could be due to the number of BlackBerry users out there on North American soil, as it offers an appealing alternative to those who want something different. While no specific launch date has been set just yet, we do know that Samsung is currently having talks with several North American carriers, so it shouldn’t be too long in coming now.
