Samsung TicToc digital audio player ready to rock and roll

The cutely named Samsung TicToc, also known as the Samsung YP-S1, is a digital audio player which was earlier unveiled at CES 2010 in Las Vegas, is now official in South Korea, the land of its birth. Tipping the scales at just 12 grams, you will be able to choose from trendy blue or pink colors, while using its acceleration sensor to execute selected commands. For example, you will need to press a button on the top while shaking it vertically to increase the volume, where a horizontal shake will change the song. Supported audio formats include MP3, WMA, FLAC and Ogg, where it features a playback time of around 12 hours on a single charge. Available in 2GB and 4GB capacities with $50 and $59 price tags, respectively, it is a no-brainer to get the latter considering the bang for your buck factor. While it won’t dethrone the iPod anytime soon, it is a cheap casual DAP for you to consider.
