SD Association has new high-speed performance symbols for SDXC and SDHC

The SD Association recently introduced a couple of new high-speed performance symbols for both SDXC and SDHC memory cards as well as supporting devices, with the former identifying devices with a new “ultra high speed” bus-interface performance while the latter identifies SD memory cards and products that are able to support real-time video recording. Needless to say, these new performance symbols can only be found on SDXC and SDHC products now and down the road. Expect SD Association member companies to start introducing a new range of SD memory cards and devices that bear the new performance symbols in the immediate future.
