Smart clothes to help wearers cope with modern day stress

The future of clothes takes on a much more holistic approach – we’re talking about prototype garments which are able to monitor physiological states such as temperature and heart rate, analyzing the data collected with background from a database in order to work out the wearer’s emotional state. Following that, media such as songs, words and images are then piped in to the display and speakers in the clothes in order to calm a wearer or offer emotional/mental support of sorts. What happens if one is particularly calm and is at peace with the rest of the world? Does this mean the clothes’ built-in speakers will start churning out tunes from a death metal band?
