Sony PS3 firmware 3.40 released

As expected, the Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) firmware update 3.40 is now available for the masses, bringing them closer to the gaming promised land filled with living room-friendly features such as a Photo Gallery that lets you browse photos from Facebook or Picasa Web Albums, while sharing them with other friends on the PlayStation Network. As for its Video Editor & Uploader, this tool that can be found on the XrossMediaBar (XMB) lets you edit, save and upload video files which are stored on the PS3.
