As expected, the Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) firmware update 3.40 is now available for the masses, bringing them closer to the gaming promised land filled with living room-friendly features such as a Photo Gallery that lets you browse photos from Facebook or Picasa Web Albums, while sharing them with other friends on the PlayStation Network. As for its Video Editor & Uploader, this tool that can be found on the XrossMediaBar (XMB) lets you edit, save and upload video files which are stored on the PS3. Help other PS3 owners out with the PlayStation Store Five Star Rating Support, but be honest while you’re at it! So far there hasn’t been any complaints concerning the firmware, which is a good thing always.
