That is now made possible thanks to Takara Tomy of Japan, offering real life RC Mario Karts. The controller itself contains actual items that you can chuck at other players including a green shell, red shell and banana skin. For example, if you happen to chuck a banana, an IR light will come out of your player’s butt so that whoever hits it will crash off course just like in the video game. Neat!
