Teufel System 8 THX Ultra 2 speaker is smallest in the world, arrives at UK

The Teufel System 8 THX Ultra 2 speaker is touted to be the smallest of its kind in the world, although it can be pretty hard to spell it all out in one breath. It seems as though it took a good few years to come up with the Teufel System 8 that sports a S 8000 SW subwoofer which is roughly 33% the size of its predecessor, although it is touted to come with enough power to fill rooms of up to 100 square metres with low end rumble. Apart from that, there are also three S 800 FCR satellite speakers meant for the front and centre channels, making them 40% smaller than the speakers which they will replace, alongside a couple of wall-mounted S 800 D speakers for the rear channels. You will be able to pick it up in a trio of configurations – we’re talking about the £2,899 Cinema 5.1 package as mentioned, the £3,099 Concert 5.1 that sees S 800 FCRs in rear channel action where wall mounting isn’t possible, and the Cinema 7.1 that will come with another two S 800 FCRs with a price tag of £3,299.
