The New Xbox 360 Won't Show The Red Ring Of Death

The Red Ring of Death (RRoD) is really something you don’t want to see on your Xbox 360, as it indicates a rather serious system failure with the console. If you’re already terrified by the mention of the RRoD, you might be happy to hear that there won’t be such a thing in the latest Xbox 360, though Microsoft’s solution might not be the one that you’ve been dying to hear. According to Microsoft’s support team, instead of displaying the red ring in the event of a hardware failure, it’ll indicate the error by switching its power indicator (the little light in the center of the ring) from green to red. What does this mean? Well, it seems that it’s gone from being the Red Ring of Death to becoming the Red Dot of Death. Are you having trouble holding back your laughter?
