Virgin Mobile looks all set to introduce the Novatel MiFi router sometime next week Stateside after it made a brief appearance at a Best Buy summer preview event recently. Similar to the other models that are available for Sprint and Verizon Wireless, this diminutive slim router will be able to make full use of your 3G signal, transforming it into a Wi-Fi hotspot that will cater for up to five other devices. With Virgin Mobile being Virgin Mobile, this MiFi device will run entirely on prepaid at $149 for the device itself, followed by various data plans that range anywhere from $10 for 100 MB to $60 for 5GB. For those who want more data, you can always top up the amount once your allocated bandwidth is maxed out.
