The WeTab might be a pretty looking tablet device, but according to some recent reports, it might ship with advertising widgets installed on the Home Screen. While that isn’t all that bad, since computers are also often shipped with trial versions of software, but word is that these advertising widgets will not be able to be removed, apparently it’s because advertising is an important part of the company’s plans to make money from the WeTab. Of course, preventing users from removing those advertising widgets might be a sore point for many, but hopefully the WeTab will be attractive enough for users to overlook it when it’s released, or it’ll have to be priced quite attractively for users to swallow the advertising.
