We’ve seen many electric cars and scooters recently, but what about boats? Aequus Boats has unveiled the Aequus 7.0 solar electric boat, which can accommodate up to seven people. Accommodation isn’t too bad, as it includes a fully functional toilet with wastewater tank, and a shower. It’s powered by a combination of solar panels embedded in the retractable canopy, which charges the onboard batteries, and should be good enough to offer 8 hours of cruising even without solar assistance. This solar boat offers a top speed of 7 knots, and pricing will begin at $70,607.
