Woot!, having been acquired by Amazon, is now offering the Kindle for $149.99 for a single day (with another $5 for shipping), where it is a good $40 more affordable than the actual $189 price point. Of course, as with anything else that appears on Woot!, it won’t remain at that level for a very long time so you’ve got to act fast if you want one for yourself. The model on sale is 3G capable, complete with social network integration as well as 2GB of internal memory, a USB 2.0 port and a 3.5 mm audio jack and built-in PDF reading capability. Of course, if you want to remain on the cutting edge of technology, the new Kindle DX with superior contrast is going for more than double that amount.
