While it hasn’t been officially confirmed just yet, word is going around that the Motorola Droid X, HTC Droid Incredible, and the Motorola Droid will be getting the juicy Android 2.2 update at the same time. If this rumor is accurate, then the update will begin to be pushed out on August 6th, with the update expected to have arrived on all devices by August 15th. With these devices getting Android 2.2 so soon, it also gives us hope that the previous leaks indicating that the Motorola Droid 2 will be launching with Android 2.2 from the get go are right on the money.
