Many folks have been wondering when Apple would be implementing its FaceTime video chat to other devices, and now screenshots of FaceTime for non-iPhone devices seem to have surfaced. Folks were always curious as to how it would be implemented, since the iPod touch obviously doesn’t make calls like the iPhone. Turns out that your email address can be registered with FaceTime, after which other users will be able to start a FaceTime call using your email address. According to the leak, Apple will be using push notifications in order to deliver these incoming FaceTime connection requests. Does this indirectly confirm that the next generation iPod touch will sport a front-facing camera for video chat?
