Apple has just updated its line of Mac Pro machines, giving its most powerful hardware even more processing firepower to get your work done. We’re talking about dual-CPU computers which will offer up to a dozen cores to do your bidding thanks to Intel’s Xeon server-class processors. Of course, this is a rather exclusive club since the starting price for one of these Mac Pros would be $4,999, where it will go up from there depending on your preferred specifications. Of course, the quad-core starting price still remains at $2,499, although the eight-core version have seen a bump to $3,499. An ATI Radeon HD 5770 will be the default GPU at the moment, although if your budget permits, a 1GB HD 5870 is waiting in the wings.
