Automated vegetable watering system

Not everyone has green fingers, and for those who do not fall under that magical category, there is always technology to help you out. We’re talking about the automated vegetable watering system that has been specially configured to maintain the right amount of moisture in the soil, in this case, tomatoes. A bucket functions as the reservoir, while a submersible pump will help send water to the soil via a plastic hose. An Arduino chip will monitor the soil sensor, watering and tweeting about it when some action on your part is required. This won’t do much about bug attacks though, so you will still have to think of a way to prevent pests from destroying your fledgling crop.
