Ballmer Promises Windows 7 Tablets Before The End Of The Year

Despite the demise of the Windows 7-powered HP Slate, Microsoft’s CEO, Steve Ballmer, has explained the situation to his audience at the World Partner Conference. According to him, Windows 7 slate devices will be arriving before the end of the year, and reminded us that the competition from Asus, Dell, Samsung, and Toshiba will be interesting, and we’ll be overloaded (even more so) with tablets devices.
