Good news for Android users out there, as an update to Google’s Android terms and conditions will see direct carrier billing for app purchases being approved, which should resolve the issue of users not having a properly integrated way to purchase apps. If everything goes according to plan, users will be able to make purchases in the Android Market and have it billed directly to their carrier billing. There wasn’t any specific date mentioned as to when carriers will be offering such a feature, but hopefully it’s only a matter of time before it becomes commonplace.
