Some users who own certain Studio laptops might have reported a while back that there were CPU throttling issues, with some folks even noticing that under higher temperatures, the notebooks that would throttle the processor by up to 95 percent, reducing them to 100MHz speeds. A firmware update was issued to help resolve the issue, but now the company is offering to replace the stock 90 watt power adapters with more powerful 130 watt models. If users are keen to get hold of the upgraded power adapter, they’re able to fill up a form online to request for it, and hopefully the newer adapter will help users avoid such issues.
