Turns out that automobile manufacturers aren’t the only ones who are trying to make their vehicles more eco friendly, as a person called David Cloud decided to spend a good three grand to convert his 1997 Geo Metro to run on an electric engine, powered by old 12V lead acid batteries. In terms of performance, the car is capable of a top speed of 72mph, and is able hit 60mph in 18 seconds. It may not look like the coolest car in town, but at least it’s doing its part for the environment, right?
