With everybody trying to go green nowadays, a lot of focus has been placed on electric vehicles. Obviously those vehicles need to be charged, and the GE WattStation concept design is an interesting one, as it’s apparently capable of powering up cars in just four to eight hours, compared to the standard twelve to eighteen hours of other stations. It’s capable of handling level 2 (240V) charging, and if everything goes according to plan, it’ll be available globally next year. In case you want to keep your car juiced up every night, a specialized home version will be available later in 2010.
