Google Music service to roll out with Android 3.0

Google looks as though they will take the fight to Apple’s turf in the next Android 3.0 update which is touted to be released before the year is over, although we do have doubts since Android 2.2 has yet to be available for most of the smartphones out there even as you read this. Anyways, hope springs eternal with news of Google Music being released alongside Android 3.0 (aka Gingerbread), where hopefully it will have something to do with the recently acquired streaming service known as Simplified Media. Will Google’s maiden step into the world of digital music be one that is full of unexpected surprises (in a positive way), or will it have trouble being recognized more than just an iTunes clone?
