HighDro Power turns flushing toilets into power generating outlets

Do you know that each flush in your toilet actually sees a whole lot of energy literally going down the drain? Tom Broadbent’s idea of the HighDro Power will takes all of that energy and transform it into electricity, which is a smashing idea considering the number of flushes that occur worldwide every single day. Of course, it is rather unwise to install the HighDro Power at home, since it would be far more beneficial in commercial buildings such as offices and shopping malls, since plenty more people flush the toilet in those places. Fast moving water from long soil pipes will be converted into energy thanks to a quartet of blades which turn a turbine. It seems that up to $1,400 in electricity costs annually within a seven-story building can be saved, although a proper appraisal of its capability has yet to be performed. That doesn’t mean this is a bad idea though.
