HTC To Form Alliance With China's Main 3 Carriers

Word is going around that HTC will be hosting a press event in Beijing on July 27th. The event is aimed to introduce the HTC brand in China, announcing the commitment of the company to the Chinese market. According to the report, the country’s three main telecom service providers – China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom, will all be at the event, with HTC set to officially announce alliances with said carriers. Such a move would be a significant one in HTC’s global battle against other handset makers, not to mention bringing in some significant revenue.
