
Being unable to move your body or speak is definitely a difficult situation, but if the person is having trouble communicating, the i-Mos concept device might be useful. This device lets the user communicate in Morse code, using the eye movements of the user to figure out what needs to be said. A movement of the eyes to the left or right can be translated into a dot or dash, spelling out the exact message that the user wants to speak. Sentence completion and built-in Morse code learning also makes learning to use this device less of a hassle.
