German device manufacturer Interpad has outlined its plans to introduce a 10″ tablet later this year for around 399 Euros ( which when converted, will retail for $518). It might be a wee bit high when you compare it to the entry level iPad which is retailing for $499, although it more or less offers the whole works where an Android-powered device is concerned – save for cellular connectivity, of course, since this is no smartphone. Some folks might wish to see its 16GB of internal flash storage space being replaced by a hard drive, but then again it would increase the physical size by quite a margin. There is still no word on whether it will hit the market outside of Germany, but one can look forward to the IFA trade show in Berlin this September. Check out the features of the Interpad in the extended post.
