Hot on the heels of the recent iPod touch rumor, two alleged iPod touch parts have appeared on Alibaba.com, listed as an “lcd with digitizer for iPod touch 4gen”. If the part is genuine, then it does indicate that the next generation iPod touch will sport a front-facing camera at the top of the device, which should confirm that it will support Apple’s FaceTime video chat. Considering that FaceTime relies on a Wi-Fi network and not a cellular connection, it wouldn’t be a problem to implement such a feature on the iPod touch. Are you looking forward to the next generation of iPod touch music players?
