LG aims to jump on board the application store bandwagon with a version of their own, although the relatively paltry offering of 3,000 apps at the moment is not going to stop traffic anytime soon. Out of the 3,000 apps in tow, around half the amount will target featurephones (gotta check back with LG on what they mean by that), while the remainder will be headed for those running on the Windows Mobile platform. LG has not forgotten about the Android community though, delivering Android-compatible apps as well later this year. How do you think the proliferation of App Store from different vendors will pan out in the end?
