LG Strugging To Meet The iPad Display Demand

Partnering to produce one of the hottest tech devices at the moment does bring its own set of problems, as LG’s CEO stated that despite manufacturing currently running at full capacity, they’re still experiencing production shortages of the iPad display, and the demand (from Apple) keeps growing and they’re unable to meet it all. While the Korean company is considering increased production for iPad products, overall supply is likely to remain quite tight until early next year. The demand of the iPad seems to have caught Apple off guard too, with the company happy to report that 3.27 million iPads well sold through the end of Apple’s most recent financial quarter.
