MeeGo fans will be happy to hear that the operating system has received its 1.01 update, which offers several improvements and fixes. Users who are currently running MeeGo 1.0 will be able to get hold of the update by clicking on the “install updates” button when they get the update notification, or you could get the release directly from the MeeGo Repository Home. Improvements include:
- Faster USB storage finding time
- Better 3D performance
- Enhanced visuals
- Support for GNOME proxy configuration in the media player
- Web browser enhancements
