Motorola Droid X Encountering Wi-Fi Issues?

While most folks have their attention focused on the iPhone 4′s Death Grip issue, it seems that the freshly-launched Motorola Droid X is not without its own set of problems. Aside from the recent display issues, users are also reporting that the phone has difficulty connecting to Wi-Fi hotspots, and also encounters poor network performance once a connection has been established. According to affected users, changing the encryption from AES to TKIP seems to help, while other folks have also noticed that using 802.11g instead of 802.11n helps to reduce the occurrence of the issue too. Hopefully Verizon and Motorola will get to the bottom of this issue soon.
