MOTU MicroBook offers studio recording capability on a computer

The MOTU MicroBook is capable of bringing professional level studio recording capability on either a PC or Mac, where its bus-powered USB interface delivers up to a quartet of simultaneous inputs alongside a host of studio mixing tools and audio analyzers. Industry standard Mac and PC drivers are used to ensure maximum software compatibility, while it has dimensions which are friendly enough to fit into just about any pocket. Don’t be fooled by its size though, as its audio interface packs in a slew of studio quality recording tools for musicians who are always on-the-go or would-be engineers. Audio can be output through balanced TRS quarter-inch main outs, stereo “mini” line out, S/PDIF digital out, and handsets. MOTU hopes to roll out the MicroBook this month for $269 apiece. With devices like these, expect to see more and more budding self-taught musicians post up quality material online.
