Folks who have been looking forward to getting hold of the eco-friendly Nissan Leaf should be quite happy to hear that Nissan North America’s Executive Vice President, Carlos Tavares, has announced that the car will be launching in California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, and Tennessee by December this year, and will be followed by Texas and Hawaii in January 2011. The rest of the nation will be getting the Nissan Leaf in the fall of 2011. Other good news comes in the form of the car’s lithium-ion battery pack being covered by an eight year, 100,000-mile warranty.
