Novation has come up with yet another useful tool for DJs as well as budding ones – we’re talking about the Dicer. This is a MIDI controller which was specially designed for triggering cue points and loops, although the unique design enables it to be mounted on a notebook if you wish, or on the corner of a turntable for easy access. Depending on the mode which the Dicer is set to at the moment, it will glow in different colors for easy identification whenever you spin in the (nearly) always dark club. It will place nice with other DJ software such as Serato Scratch Live or Traktor Scratch Pro. $99 will bag you a set of two, although you will have to fork out more dough for separate software.
