Panasonic aims to usher in a new era of living room entertainment with their RT2B series plasmas which are more than capable of recording TV broadcasts onto their respective hard drives or Blu-ray drives. Not only that, these are the first all-in-one models which can handle Blu-ray 3D movie playback as well. You can choose from 42″ and 46″ versions, but we don’t think it is too likely to see either model cross the Pacific. Of course, the chances of seeing new 3D glasses make their way is much higher, where they all come in varying sizes as well as sealed batteries that can be recharged via USB – a vast improvement over the current model that requires a replaceable watch battery with a sole size to fit “all”.
