The many faces of the Samsung Galaxy S doesn’t matter when it comes to it being rooted thanks to an adapted hack which was designed for the international version. Of course, the process might sound rather dicey to some since it requires you to flash an update.zip file, where it has so far been confirmed to run on the AT&T Captivate and T-Mobile Vibrant without any problem. Since developers have already introduced a custom ROM for the international version of the root hack, one can safely assume that future ROMs ought to be easily adapted for all the Galaxy S variants Stateside considering the software differences in each of them are said to be minor.
