T-Mobile G1 is no more

Today marks the demise of the first Android-powered smartphone in the world – the -T-Mobile G1 is no longer available for sale via official channels, which signals the end of its life cycle. Of course, if you’re stilll adamant on bringing home one of these for posterity’s sake, then you won’t have a problem searching for a second hand model from one of the numerous online auction sites out there. The G1 certainly ushered in the era of iPhone killers even though they never really fulfilled their role in that way, and we hope to see its descendants go from strength to strength.
