Leaked images of what could possibly be a sequel to T-Mobile’s webConnect Rocket 3G modem have surfaced, where it is simply dubbed webConnect Rocket 2.0. Currently, this makes the modem the only one with HSPA+ support from T-Mobile, where it will play nice with both Mac and PC platforms. It also doubles up as an impromptu portable storage device thanks to its integrated microSDHC memory card slot that offers up to 16GB of additional storage space. We would expect the sequel to sell at the same price as its predecessor, where a ballpark figure would be $25 monthly for 200MB of data. We’ll just need to stay tuned to see when will T-Mobile roll this out.
