Despite recent reports, Hulu has confirmed that users will not need to subscribe to the PlayStation Plus service in order to have Hulu Plus on their PS3. Users are only required to have Sony’s subscription for the duration of the preview phase, and when the full Hulu Plus service is available, customers will only need to pay $10 per month to get access to the service itself. Apparently the need for the PlayStation Plus during the preview phase was only to control the number of users during that period, though it wasn’t explicitly mentioned when the preview phase would end.
