USB Mail Box Friends Alert

Every now and then a cute USB device pops up that catches the eye, such as the USB Mail Box Friends Alert. This $18 little device plugs into your computer’s USB port, and can monitor your email, Twitter, and Facebook accounts via its companion software, and will light up red or green to notify you when there’s an update. To make it even cuter, the little plastic flag on the side of the mailbox will actually raise. The software currently supports Windows 7, Vista, and XP, so if you’re running Linux or OSX, this probably wouldn’t be as much fun.
