Vodafone to stop 360 phones

While Microsoft recently killed its Kin phones, Vodafone decided to follow suit by stopping any more release of handsets from the 360 line. However, the 360 services suite will still continue to exist, although you won’t be looking at any more 360-branded handsets down the line. For those who look forward to the H2, you will be disappointed since it was originally supposed to be launched shortly. This is a LiMo-powered handset, which just goes to prove that competing in the smartphone market with a new operating system might not be as easy as it sounds, so hopefully Samsung’s bada OS will not suffer the same fate.
