10MP Ricoh CX4 Coming To Japan On Sept 3

After Nikon and Canon have announced their latest wares, Ricoh has introduced its latest CX4 camera over in Japan. The CX4 is a 10megapixel shooter with a rear-illuminated CMOS sensor and sports a 28-300mm lens. The new image sensor-shift stabilization feature of the camera claims to be able to reduce blur by an average of 3.7 shutter speed stops. Other features of the camera include new filters that can be applied to images (Soft Focus, Cross Process, Toy Camera), subject-tracking autofocus, and multi-shot mode. The CX4 will be arriving in Japan on September 3rd, though there wasn’t any mention of pricing. It wasn’t mentioned if Ricoh is planning to introduce the camera in other markets just yet.
